Anthelios Daily Moisturizers and Sunscreens (By La Roche Posay)
The Anthelios line of daily moisturizers and sunscreens is widely regarded as the strongest protection available from the damaging effects of the sun. All Anthelios products are fragrance-free, PABA-free, allergy-tested, and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Anthelios SX (SPF 15) daily moisturizer is a light, non-greasy cream which combines 24-hour hydration with broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. Anthelios SX contains Mexoryl SX, the first FDA approved sun filter, which adds short UVA range sun protection not found in other daily moisturizers and sunscreens.
Anthelios 40 (SPF 40) is a fast-absorbing sunscreen meant for active use in moderately sunny environments, and for sun-sensitive adults and children. Anthelios 40 retains the ingredient Mexoryl SX, yet in a higher concentration (3%) than the Anthelios SX daily moisturizer. Other sun protection ingredients include Octocrylene, Avobenzene, and Titanium Dioxide.
Anthelios 60 (SPF 60) is a high UVA protection sunscreen. Available in 3 individual formulas for the face and body, Anthelios 60 provides water resistant sun-protection for outdoor and beach activities. Anthelios 60 also protects down to the cellular level of skin (Cell-Ox Shield). Anthelios 60 sunscreens are water-resistant, fragrance-free, allergy-free, non-comedogenic, and tested on sensitive-skin. Anthelios 60 for facial protection is offered in an ultralight sunscreen fluid for normal to combination skin with a matte finish, as well as a melt-in sunscreen lotion for normal to dry skin with a sheer finish. Both formulas are water resistant and fast absorbing. Anthelios 60 for body protection is offered as a melt-in sunscreen milk. Designed for all skin types, this fast absorbing and water-resistant sunscreen offers a velvet finish.
