How the Treatment Works

Our Lipo-Dissolve program involves the use of two naturally occurring substances, Phosphatidylcholine PC and SodiumDeoxycholate DC to provide targeted destruction (Lipolysis) of unwanted fat pockets. This compound is often referred to as PCDC. PCDC works by dissolving the fat cell membranes, emptying the cells of their contents followed by elimination from the body by normal metabolic processes. Phosphatidylcholine is derived from the soy bean and is known to most as Lecithin. This product has been used for decades both orally and intraveneously to lower cholesterol, melt fat in arterial plaques and in the treatment of fat emboli post trauma.

The second component of our compound sodium deoxycholate DC is naturally found in our bodies and serves to emulsify fat. DC also helps make PC soluable so we can easily inject it into the fat pockets to be treated. PCDC has been used throughout South America and Europe since 1995 and Dr. Adrian was one of the first physicians in the United States and the first physician in Washington, D.C. to perform Lipo-Dissolve treatment. Dr. Adrian is a certified physician in Network-Lipolysis, an international organization promoting proper training as a means of safe and effective Lipo-Dissolve therapy throughout the world.
