How Lipo-Dissolve Works

Lipo-Dissolve treatment involves a series of microinjections of a compounded mixture containing phosphatidylcholine PC and sodium deoxycholate DC. This compound is often referred to as PCDC. When injected, this naturally occurring compound disrupts fat cells leading to emptying the fat cells (targeted lipolysis). Most patients require two to four treatment sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart, although some areas may require only a single treatment. Phosphatidylcholine and Sodium Deoxycholate are naturally derived compounds which when injected begin to break up fat cells, emptying their contents followed by natural metabolism in the liver as an energy source. This may be one of the reasons that some patients note increased energy and lack of appetite post treatment.
