Juvederm/Restylane/Perlane (Hyaluronic Acid)

Our most popular wrinkle fillers are Juvederm™, Restylane™, and Perlane™. Over the years these Hyaluronic Acid Based fillers have proven to be a safe and effective procedure for the correction of facial lines and scars. These fillers are used extensively to correct mild to moderate nasolabial folds and fine lines around the mouth. They are also used to elevate depressed scars, enhance lip & cheek size and contour, and restore facial symmetry. Improvement with Hyaluronic acid fillers is temporary with benefits typically lasting from 3 to 6 months depending on individual physiology, however new collagen formation does occur over time, resulting in gradual permanent reduction of lines, wrinkles, and scars over time with regular treatments. Juvederm Ultra and Restylane are used primarily for fine lines and wrinkles as well as lip volume enhancement, while the heavier molecular weight Juvederm Ultra Plus and Perlane are more effective in treating deeper facial lines as well as volume enhancement of cheeks.

Evolence® (Bovine Collagen)

Evolence is a recently FDA approved dermal filler made of natural bovine collagen. Evolence dermal filler treats the effects of aging by replacing the collagen you've lost due to the effects of aging. Evolence can immediately improve and refresh your appearance by smoothing out and softening unwanted wrinkles and folds, and restoring structure and facial contour in volume-depleted areas. The visible, natural-looking results are achieved immediately, with minimal-to-no post procedure downtime. While collagen was previously very popular in enhancement of the lips, its rapid degradation meant that many treatments were required at short intervals. Evolence is the evolution of short-lived collagen and is FDA approved to last 6 months or more, and unlike previous collagen products does not require a skin test prior to injection. The collagen in Evolence, like the popular Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, has been naturally cross-linked, so it mimics the 3-dimensional structure of your skin's own collagen.

Radiesse (Calcium Hydroxylapatite)

The Center for Laser Surgery also offers Radiesse™, a recently FDA Approved filler, which has been proven to stimulate extensive collagen formation to permanently decrease facial lines even after the original filler has degraded (normally 8-12 months). Radiesse is the most effective treatment for deep nasolabial folds, often found in male subjects. Radiesse is often used in conjunction with a Hyaluronic Acid filler, where Radiesse is injected to reduce a deep facial fold, with the lighter Hyaluronic Acid filler used to reduce the residual wrinkle left in the skin. Radiesse is also very effective in volume restoration of the hands and can eliminate skin laxity and hide bulgy, unsightly veins on top of the hands.

Sculptra (Poly-L Lactic Acid)

The Center for Laser Surgery also offers Sculptra™ (poly-L-lactic acid) for the permanent correction of deep facial lines and facial wasting secondary to HIV infection. Sculptra is also used to eliminate gaunt facial appearance due to mid-face fat and bone loss due to aging.
