Amanda Hodgdon, RNA native Washingtonian, Amanda attended the Maret school, and received her Nursing degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Amanda joined the Center for Laser Surgery in 2001, where she began her career in laser medicine under the tutelage of the Center’s founder, the late Dr. Robert M. Adrian. During her years of experience working alongside Dr. Adrian she developed a deep understanding of both the clinical application of lasers as well as the physics and biology of the application of laser energy. Amanda has been featured in international media regarding her expertise in the use of lasers for tattoo removal. She also served as study coordinator and evaluator of the Center’s Phase III FDA clinical trial of Dysport™ botulinum toxin. Amanda has special interests in the laser treatment of scars and tattoos, as well as the advanced application of dermal fillers.
